2010 3rd Annual Pettaway Community Picnic

Had a great day at the 3rd Annual Pettaway Neighborhood picnic, started 3 years ago by the Silver Senior Pettaway organization, a group of individuals who use to live in the neighborhood, still have family here, and wanted to give back and help strengthen the community they grew up in. Thanks to Cholly' Famous Barbeque (contact Ron Smith - 501-626-8586 for info on catering your event) and everyone else who volunteered there time and resources to make this event a success. UA Design Build 2010/11 Team

Meet the 2010/2011 Design Build team from the UA Fay Jones School of Architecture. The team came to Little Rock on Wed, Aug 25th, toured the Pettaway Neighborhood, met with the City, and had an initial steering committee meeting with residents from the Neighborhood. Now work begins on the 2nd Design build home in the Historic Pettaway Neighborhood. Soon their will be a link up that you will be able to follow their progress. More pics from the day....

DLRCDC finishes pre-sold home at 1517 Commerce St.  New home owner is to move soon after closing through the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA) with a fixed 30 year interest rate below 1% for the life of the loan.  This home is a 1450 sq/ft 3 bed 2-1/2 bath.
